'Small Bites for a Big Cause' is a friendly fundraising culinary competition showcasing High Country Grown chefs. They will be challenged to incorporate fresh, local ingredients into bite-sized hors d'oeuvres. Ticket holders will have the chance to taste each small bite and vote on their favorites.
This year's theme and inspiration for the the Small Bites is: Preserved in Appalachia: Rooted in Culture
The theme was suggested to shine a positive light on the way the community came together in the last year following Hurricane Helene. We hope this year's Small Bites and the dishes created by the participating chefs will serve as a tribute to the resiliency of Appalachia and the ways our food traditions help us care for one another.
